‘Oh-my-god-this-is-completely-worst-how-did-I-get-here-I-just-want-to-curl-up-into-a-ball-and-hide’. We all have been there ㄧ we constantly feel like giving up because of the thought of whatever I do has really no effect on what is happening in my life. It is doing no good, it’s like running up a never-ending hill. It’s hard!

There’s a feeling of powerlessness when you realize you’re banging your head against a wall which doesn’t seem to move. And that makes you feel it hard to dig your way. The truth is every creative adventure will bring the real value in pain. What-ifs, would-haves, and could-haves cause strong distractions in our path. So, we give up.

The funny true thing is we make it hard for us. If you do not achieve something in the next few hours or days, it doesn’t mean it will not work for us ever. There shouldn’t be an option of giving up. Here’s what you should be doing to keep moving on.

It’s darkest before the dawn

Truth be told, things often seem to be at their worst just before they get better. When you start your day with such thoughts, it will make you resilient enough to hold on when things get awry. I find this to be very true thoughout my life till now. When with my blog posts the things seemed to be below average, I saw a change in it all of sudden. Maybe be because seeing that low point motivated me to change how I did things. Life will always give you a chance to maintain the balance. When there are difficulties, problems, and potholes, this all will lead you to dawn.

It starts with your thoughts

Everything in your life will flow according to your thoughts. You will not be able to push yourself if you mind is negative. Your thoughts will always get into your way of doing meaningful efforts. Of course, failure is one part of life. You’ll have to face confusion, have the courage to accept yourself as you are. It’s your faith in yourself that will make your grow.

Choose your thoughts:

  • Avoid seeing the pictures of problems in your mind
  • Fill up your mind with positive thoughts
  • Refuse to feel pity for yourself

When you’ve set your goals, be sure to stand up to that voice in your head that pulls you down. See how you develop the confidence to keep swimming to reach your goal.

Hang those quotes on your wall

You can have beautiful wall and feel inspired at the same time. How? Get your favourite quotes that inspire you framed on your wall.

  • “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” — Thomas Edison
  • “Remember that guy that gave up? Neither does anyone else.” — Unknown
  • “This too shall pass.” — Persian Proverb
  • “Success is not the absence of failure; it’s the persistence through failure.” — Aisha Tylor

Stay present

“Nothing has happened in the past; it happened in the Now. Nothing will ever happen in the future; it will happen in the Now.”

Another common reason is we lose to be in the moment. For many of us, living in the present is an incredible foreign concept. The thoughts of walking along the successful people makes us lose what we are doing in the present. We start looking back. We wonder if we could ever get the things on our to-do list. We fail to manage our to-do list and remain worried about how we are going to be able squeeze it all in. It’s all about building a forward momentum to keep going.

  • Realize now is all that you have
  • Take deep breaths
  • Step away from thought loops
  • Pick good vibes

You’ll always find something worthy to be grateful for present moment, despite the situation.

The floor is yours

We’re just tiny little blobs, we have to make our time to not to look back in our life. What’s one hard thing that stops you from moving forward. Leave a comment and share your thoughts.a
