Your Skills Make You Good; Your Choices Make You Great.
Life is all about choices. If you choose to be better than you were yesterday, every single day, you are one step closer to achieving greatness. Remember that your skills can land you in a job. However, it is your choice to do things in a better way than others at the same job is what’s going to take you to the next level.
You Can Choose To Be Ordinary, Or You Can Stand Out
That little extra effort you made to finish your tasks before the deadline. That one little extra hour of research you out before drafting your article. That little help you offered to your team member who was stuck at something.
All these are our conscious choices, and they make you stand out in the crowd. The irony is that most of us are programmed to carry out our jobs like the run of the mill. We are laughed at if we try to break the status quo. In fact, since our childhood, we are conditioned to follow the herd mentality.
However, history is a proof that people who challenge the status quo by thinking out of the box, and those who make a choice to not do things like everyone is doing are the ones who end up being great.
“Choose to be great, not just good. Stop wasting time on managing things using an email, and Start using ProofHub.”
Don’t be just good. Be great!
Everyone has the skills, but not everyone has the courage to make choices to be extraordinary. Remember, at the end of the day it’s your choice to make that extra effort and develop your skills into something of value that’s going to boost your personal and professional life. Otherwise, you will also end up leading an ordinary life like everyone else.
The question is — are you willing to make that choice?
